Mortgages for Professionals (MFP) was established in 2007 but the origins of the company are dated back to 1993 when the founders of MFP, Bruce Mainwaring and Daniel Newbery, first entered the industry. Bruce and Dan quickly became specialist in their field and in 2004 Bond Finance Ltd was created to help clients with their mortgage and commercial needs.
With their growing knowledge, expertise, reputation and banking contacts, Bruce and Dan realised that professionals did not realise that they qualified for preferential products, income multiples and terms. I contacted MFP after several unsuccessful mortgage applications directly with lenders. I had become self employed only 9 months prior to making applications, and notwithstanding evidence of consistent and valuable revenue, lenders couldn’t accept such a recent change in circumstances. MFP understood my situation completely, and looked at all the background and surrounding circumstances before creating a case which quickly resulted not just in a mortgage offer, but one with a high LTV and at a very competitive rate.
